凄美而浪漫的《悲惨世界》

            我第一次看《孤星淚》的時候, 應該是十年前的一個晚上, 那時候, 表姐從書店買回來. 我借來看一看, 可能當時還小, 只是看幾篇就沒有繼續下去. 直至最近幾個月, 從網上無意發現這本巨著的音樂劇, 一聽, 立即被它悅耳的歌聲所震撼.
   
    孤星淚》 又名《悲慘世界》（Les Miserables），出自法國大文豪雨果的手筆. 故事以法國大革命為背景, 描述十九世紀初幾個法國人物的生活， 主角尚萬強（Jean Valjean）是一位窮苦農民，因飢餓偷了一塊面包而被判苦役，刑滿釋放後，因有案底, 找工作處處碰壁. 因而憤世嫉俗. 後來, 被一位主教收留, 受到主教愛心的打動 , 尚萬強改名換姓埋頭工作, 當上了巴黎市長，繼而成了一位富翁, 這時,他同情窮人, 樂善好施，救急扶危, 後來 遇上一位命運堪虞的女子芳汀(fantine), 芳汀死後, 尚萬強繼續供養她的孤女柯賽特(Cosette ). 當時, 法庭濫判無辜，他為了救助孤女,他毅然上法庭承認自己的真實姓名. 可是, 法律不容和都社會不容他，連他的孤女也誤解他，他多年舍已救人，最後卻在孤寂中走向死亡.

      [孤星淚]是一部描述法國大革命,人性探討,社會問題,人民慘狀而組成的小說,. 聽音樂劇, 你可以感受到當時法國基層人民, 在法律和官僚的壓迫下, 過一些非人道的生活, 生活充滿不幸和悲慘. 然而, 雨果不僅利用人物的悲慘遭遇, 來揭露和批判社會的問題, 更在以在戰爭裡的一段三角戀關系, 描寫Marius, Cosette 與Eponin 之間的家國情仇.  這樣子, 令充滿凄美色彩的小說, 添加了浪漫的情調.

    這是一部充滿悲慘的小說, 可雨果卻能把各行各業人物的故事, 結合當時社會的環境, 創造出一個探討社會現像的哲學書. 同時,  小說還有不少濃郁的抒情氣氛，彌漫著浪漫主義的氣息! 而在音樂劇, 我最喜歡幾首歌曲,   包括[Do you hear the people sing], [One day more!], [A Little Fall of Rain], 我覺得這幾首歌曲唱出了《孤星淚》的精華之處.

    《悲慘世界》（法語：Les Misérables）是由法國音樂劇作曲家克勞德-米歇爾·勳伯格和阿蘭·鮑伯利（Alain Boublil）共同創作的一部音樂劇，改編自維克多·雨果的同名小說。故事以1832年巴黎共和黨人起義為背景，講述了主人公尚萬強在多年前因為了家人沒有食物而去偷麵包遭判重刑，假釋後計劃重新做人、改變社會，但卻遇上種種困難的艱辛歷程。該劇於1980年在法國巴黎的體育宮（Palais des Sports）首次公演，原本預計上演八週，結果延長加演，共演出了16週，因之後的場地時程已被預訂才不得不下檔。

   悲慘世界曾被英國BBC電台第二台的聽眾選為「全國第一不可或缺的音樂劇」。2005年10月8日，該劇在倫敦皇后劇場慶祝20週年，而且在上映前便已經預訂演出至2007年1月6日，取代了安德魯·洛伊·韋伯的《貓》，成為倫敦西區上演年期最長的音樂劇。《悲慘世界》與《貓》、《歌劇魅影》和《西貢小姐》一同被認為是1980年代以來，歐洲最具影響力的音樂劇之一。

佩服哈里王子的學術精神，作出中英文戲曲翻譯。前二月看了電影音樂劇孤星淚時，雖不明歌詞，但劇情淌人熱淚，不愧為世界十大名著之一。雨果、拜倫、歌德、大仲馬、小仲馬、泰戈尔等的作品都值的細心欣賞！

終於有人欣賞了,前輩說得對,.這部作品很值得看,雖然故事發生在十九世紀,但現在看起來,仍然發人深省. 政治革命,法律的矛盾,人性的黑暗, 悲慘的人生,感人的愛情故事,這些交織在一起,就形成悲慘世界.而音樂劇的歌曲更引人入勝,繞樑三日,值得一聽.
